Assumption: you want gold and a farm that survives Light Rain. S-tier is Endyam for the opener and Pumpkin for month 1–2 gold, Watermelon and Agave for dry-season jackpots. A-tier is cabbage, strawberry, grape. B is corn, tea, coffee as shrubs. C is potato and thundergrass. D is toadstool.
Keratinized weight keeps Endyam in S even when pumpkin pays more per fruit, because a dead pumpkin is 0 gold. Indoor farms can promote cabbage.
Season split
Do not plant a dry-season S-tier in month 1. The rank only counts the months you can plant it. Use Crop profit for the raw margin column if you hate letters.

How to use the letters with the profit grid
Crop profit subtracts seed from fruit without weather. This page adds weather, genes, and basins. Open both. If you hate letters, copy the S names and plant them in the right basin: wood for staples, fungus packs for mushrooms, vine frames for grape, vertical frames for tea and wax apple. Wrong basin means no harvest, and no S can save it.
Month 1–2 beds: Endyam, pumpkin, cabbage under cover, paddy, strawberry. Month 3–4 beds: watermelon 420, agave 1,000, corn, tomato, pepper. Vines often want 1 and 3. Fungi want month 2. Inspect with E. Keep plants off the ground because animals eat them even with full troughs. Expansion gold 5,000 and up does not change a letter; it changes how many S rows you can place.
When a gene reranks a crop
Keratinized Endyam is how you survive outdoor Light Rain. Needle-leaf watermelon is how you survive Harsh Dry. Hope on anything is how you get seeds back. Fractal on multi-harvest plants is how you print extra gold. Seedless is a trap. Three slots maximum. Do not triple-stack protect and call the cabbage S. The gene planner shows whether the seed can even roll the trait. Cabbage’s Turritopsis at 0.27 is not a day-one perennial.
Coffee at 95 beans and 90 seed with 25 life stays B as a shrub investment. Thundergrass stays D because gold is worse than Endyam. Toadstool stays off the money ranking. If you are collecting genes on Eden Fruit’s all-0.0556 table, you are not on what this list ranks anymore — you are on the gene planner. That is allowed. Do not screenshot it as a crop S.
