Each seed lists the months it accepts, how long the plant lives, and the repeat harvest cadence. The table sits first. This essay is how to read a row, not a second planting guide.

How to read this table
Months are when you can plant, not a promise every seed prints gold. Empty month talk belongs to fishing; seeds here list the months they accept. Lifespan and repeat cadence are harvest timing, not a promise that acid will spare you. Seed price and crop price are the sell prices on the table. Top gene weights are chances, not a ready-made mix. Endyam’s Keratinized at 0.45 is the famous one. Cabbage’s Turritopsis at 0.27 is not a day-one perennial. Eden Fruit’s genes are all 0.0556 — it is a story plant at 800 gold, not a loop.
Wrong basin means no harvest, and no sell price can save it. Wood for staples, shrub for tea and coffee, vine for grape and hops, fungus packs for mushrooms, vertical frames for trees. Farming covers that rule. Protect covers acid and scorching sun at 0.45. Gene planner is the weighted seed table. Crop profit subtracts seed from fruit without weather. Crop tier list tells you what to plant tonight: Endyam S for month 1, pumpkin for 360 if it lives, watermelon 420 and agave 1,000 in dry months.
Where in-season plants still fail
Light Rain the season is not acid rain the weather. Month 1 can still throw 0.45 at in-season cabbage. Inspect with E. Animals eat ground crops even with full troughs — farm build wants fences and raised basins before the free coop. Classic Planting exists later; opening hours still want a wooden basin from Agricultural Basics. Farm expansions at 5,000 / 25,000 / 65,000 / 150,000 change how many rows you can place, not whether watermelon grows in month 1.

Frequently asked questions
Why won’t my watermelon grow?
It wants months 3–4. Plant Endyam in 1–2.
What if the crop type is fungus?
It needs a fungus basin, not a wooden one.
Does a festival change plantable months?
No. Events are calendar gates for fish and mail, not a free watermelon in month 1.
Where is coal on this table?
Coal is not a seed. Mining Area, Doloc Rivervalley, Ridge Valley, and Wetland. Packaged crates in Old City Ruins.
How many genes per crop?
Three. Hope is the gene that survives compression. The gene catalog defines traits; the planner shows weights.
Endyam 40 versus cabbage 130?
Both are sell prices on the table. Protect decides who lives when acid deals 0.45. Crop profit ignores weather on purpose.
Is Eden Fruit a loop?
No. Story plant at 800 gold; every gene weight is 0.0556. Unranked staple on the crop tier list.
Alfalfa rank?
Fodder. Rank it with animals, not with pumpkin.
